Brandon Clinton, Equihope Founder

With over 25 years of equine experience, Brandon Clinton has achieved a vast knowledge of horses, while providing top showmanship for riders desiring champion results.

Growing up forty-five minutes west of Chicago, Brandon began riding quarter horses at the age of five. Two years later his family switched barns and his riding styles. He immediately fell in love with show jumping. It was in that same local Illinois community that Brandon first got a taste for the professional industry as a junior instructor. Years later, an opportunity presented itself to become the owner and operator of Waterchase Farm located in Tampa, Florida.

Over the years that followed, Brandon took every opportunity available to expand his equine knowledge across the disciplines. He spent one-year learning from the famed Grand Prix Dressage rider James Armstrong, working with horses ranging from Training level to Grand Prix level. He then partnered with Daum Show Horses, where he trained as well as campaigned quarter and paint horses for All-Around and Reigning competitions. During these partnerships, his clients, both amateur and youth, were known for placing in the Top 10 at both the American Quarter Horse Association Congress and American Paint Horse Association. Brandon personally won the two-year-old Hunter Under Saddle. In 2009, Brandon was offered a one-year position, abroad, as head trainer of an elite breeding and sales facility in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. He focused his talents on correctly developing young show prospects while overseeing all equine importations.

Upon returning to the States, Brandon finally decided it was time to pool his knowledge and talents together and start his own business, Brandon Clinton Sport Horses, based in New Jersey and solely focusing on his passion for showjumping. Clients showed and qualified for notable shows such as WEF, HITS, Pennsylvania National Horse Show, Washington International Horse Show, and Devon Horse Show.

In July 2021, Brandon moved his training facility to North Dallas. Located minutes from Frisco, Plano, McKinney, and Denton County his farm offers a 100’x200’ Covered Arena, Jump Field, and 60+ acres of pristine riding.

In 2022, Brandon created the foudnation EquiHope to serve DFW families through theraputic riding.

Whether you are a beginner, looking to refresh your skillset, or compete at a national level, Brandon’s coaching and enthusiasm will get you there.
